Watching from home, the most noticeable and positive change from previous years by far is that they have moved on from that old, dated tiresome arena music playlist that plagued them for years. Someone confirm

  2. McWhorter44

Zach Collins is that dude. Im glad we have him

  3. kunjacob

Wemby, Ja Wick, Skinny Zion, Luka, and Boban.

This is the toughest division in the league as always and you can’t tell me otherwise.

Score and shooting don’t really matter in preseason but this Spurs roster is really lacking people who can get to the rim off dribble penetration big time. Probably going to have to run a lot of high post handoff and cut actions this season just to get some good looks.

Well, our third string needs work. Overall, I think our starters and bench did great and some of y’all were gassing up this Rockets team way too much. Don’t ‘it’s only the preseason’ me lol

I just don’t see it with Blake Wesley. He may have amazing straightline speed, but he has no feel for the game and is the definition of out of control on most possessions. And his FTs look pretty horrendous for a guard, which is a strong signal he’ll never be a reliable shooter. He doesn’t seem to know how to react or adjust in realtime, so he can’t capitalize on his athletic advantage. I’m really missing the upside…

    What a disasterous quarter lol

Oh well, on to the next game.

  8. Sci-Fy_JK13

Defensive intensity was way better this game than nearly any I watched last year. Shame that the wheels fell off at the end.

I’m a bit worried how off Julian has been. Hope he shakes the rust off.

Starters all looked great imo, especially Keldon and Zach. I know the deep bench lost it for us, but I’m not too worried since most will probably be in Austin most of the year. Wemby, Zach, Keldon, Jeremy, Tre, Devin, Malaki, Doug, Cedi, Devonte, Bassey, and Mamu is an adequate 12 man rotation.

  10. smh both blake and champenie better not be rotation players

Wesley Blake has been a sore disappointment regardless of where we drafted him. I see nothing to his game outside of his speed. Idk how long he sticks around before he’s cut or something

This is what preseason is for. Knowing Pop, he will try dozens of lineups, but I’d rather figure out what isn’t going to fly while these games don’t count.

  13. DevilGunManga

Our garbage crew went “AAU” tonight.

  14. nakedsamurai

I don’t know why y’all are obsessed with the end of the game. Who gives a fuck? Pop put in some players to challenge them and it was rough.

Loved the defensive effort and control of the game otherwise. Collins dominated their front line and he’s our second big.

Rockets are all FVV, otherwise they’ll struggle with sets. I get that they were missing Jalen Green. They might want to start Amen.

our 3rd stringers got rekted. Sad for Blake but can’t go out like that when Malaki has shown nothing but upsides.

  16. LarrysPeru

Another frustrating choke job. Yeah it’s preseason but that was a horrific end to that game, just wtf
