If Steve Kerr didn't want to have a parade to the FT line in the 3rd quarter, then he should have coached his team not to get into the penalty with 8:30 left in the quarter. And once they got into the penalty, he should have coached them to not play aggressive until the next period, because that's teams have to do in a game when the refs were clearly blowing the whistle on physical defense. A good team needs to adapt to that and keep themselves from falling so deep into the penalty so early in a period. But as you say – the Warriors foul. A lot.

Im a nuggets fan, and I was disgusted with how Jokic was playing. It simply just wasn't a fun viewing experience. He in general doesnt flop for calls, but he absolutely did in this game imo, it really makes me think though, you get a jokic game like this once in a blue moon, and i simply couldnt imagine being a Embiid, dame, Butler etc fan and watching my favorite player grift for fouls all game every game. I think a big reason Joker even got those fouls was because the game before a bunch of pics and videos showed him covered in blood but not getting any foul calls.
The NBA has the refs eject Joker every time he looks at them the wrong way. The NBA doesn't want Jokic to succeed over lesser players like Embid and LeBron because they can't market him and make money off of him like they can with those other players. And since no one can beat him, and they don't want to see him get the MVP every single year, they have to rig the officiating against him.

I always see Jokic get constantly fouled without getting calls, even receiving an arm to the face right infront of a ref and still no whistle. Crying about something the one time the shoe is on the other foot would be like Draymond saying there is a flagrant foul problem that time HE got kicked in the nuts.
Some people were trying to backtrack, saying that the problem was with the refs not calling things consistently. Nuggets are a bigger team, plus Steph and Klay had an off night even getting blocked several times, so there was no reason for Nuggets to put themselves in situations to foul GS that night and why Warriors didn't get as many calls that game. And last time these two teams met, Warriors fans were blaming the refs for not calling a goal tend, when they had just won the game before from a goal tend not being called. You can't complain about things only because they didn't go your way that time ( like Pat Mahomes).

Altho i overall agree with what Steve Kerr said, he chose the worst game possible to make a statement.
Jokic is probably the guy that gets punished the more, literally losing BLOOD every game while not getting to the line nearly enough (averaging 6 FT per game this season only.)
He has only shot 10 or more free throws 6 times (including this very game) this season.
He has shot 5 or less free throws 17 times this season.
It looks bad when you are trying to make a statement about flopping, bs ref calls and superstar treatment after a game against arguably the best player in the league that also doesnt get any calls.

It was a very strange refereeing vs the Warriors. He got really soft calls and it was odd. In general Jok rarely goes to the line and his arms are always bleeding lol. Like 5 free throws per game. If there is a free throw merchant, Jokic ain't one.
Also Kerr is being very vocal about bad refs but he forgets he got a few rings in part thanks to illegal screens and Draymond acting like a thug. When Draymond punches a player, Kerr has no comment but it's only when something goes against him that he complains loudly uh.
