7'5 has to bounce the ball a long distance to the floor, many opportunities for smaller players to steal the ball from him. No, he's not a point guard

There are times when Pop made Wemby the pointguard on offense and then center on defense. I don’t think he will make Wemby the full-time PG. But Wemby was right when he said that this is like the future for basketball. Wemby said in an interview before that Pop’s favorite player rn is Jokic so it makes sense if Pop is trying to teach Victor to be a point center. Pop said in an interview before that he hasn’t shown Wemby Jokic videos in their film sessions yet because rn they’re studying more about fundamentals and footwork, but they’re probably gonna study Jokic more this post-season. Ngl, a point center Wemby is lethal but he will still need a true PG to facilitae and a 3nD wing to help him when he gets double-teamed.
Manu broke Pop of trying to make him conform in any way.
I guess Wemby means in future of basketball, playmaking will not be exclusive to point guards; can't see anything wrong in his statements
My hot Spurs take…We don't need another star/superstar player.
We don't need a ball dominant PG. That will take the ball out of Wembys hands too much.
Wemby will be as good as two superstar players. He will be the best defensive player and top 5 offensive player.
We need smart talented players around wemby that can defend and shoot.
Wemby will be in effect our "PG" but we do still need an upgrade at pg. Someone with size that can defend. Still need them occasionally to do PG things but not to extent that it negates Wembys playmaking skills.
Don't mind having Wemby at the point, but then we need a 8 foot center to make it look normal 😉
