Absolutely, Pacers and Pascal in 6 or 5
Pacers in six. We win two of first three, one in a blow out. GA comes back in second or third game but is a little too careful to dominate. We lose one that's somewhat close but play embarrassingly bad, and then close them out at home. Nembhard blunts Dame somewhat, but gives up a lot of calls in a close one that we lose. Our big three is steady, not spectacular. We continue to play the bench a little more than most coaches would, but it helps us run them into the ground in the forth quarters. TJ is big for us. His energy ignites and sustains when we need it.
Tony has as much faith as I do. Lol Pacers could pull something off, but both team's are without critical player's. We don't even have a single wing, or shooting threats. Hard to say, I'm hoping Giannis stays out and isn't himself once he's back.
I know creating narratives is the media's job but the absolute LAST thing this Team needs to do is add pressure to the situation.
I don't care if Giannis, Dame and Middleton were all out, Pacers players absolutely should not focus on that literally at all and allow it to add any additional pressure.
Pacers have shown they can literally beat any team in the NBA. All the Pacers need to focus on is playing their game. Staying in the moment. Competing with the opposing players that are on the court.
I stress stay in the moment.
This team has earned the right to trust themselves. Just go play your game. Don't worry about losing to the Bucks without Giannis or losing period.
Don't worry about upsetting the fan base or be concerned about what the media is going to write.
Stay In the moment. Trust their teammates. Have confidence that If they play their game without distractions they give themselves A legit shot to literally beat any team in the NBA.
Fans and media create these narratives for views and for content. It's their jobs. Pacers just Need to play their Game like they have all season.
At the end of the day it's just another basketball game. Theyve played 83 of them this year. The last month or so has been nothing but pressure.
Now that they've made the playoffs there Is a good chance they will feel LESS pressure.
The pressure this team has felt the past month especially Tyrese with injuries and shooting slump should more then prepare them for this series amd this moment tomorrow.
Pacers should be just fine. All the pressure is on the Bucks and Doc Rivers in spite of the media favoring them and expecting them to win If Giannis doesn't play.
