The Toronto Raptors former star Pascal Siakam has been absolutely DOMINANT in the first round of the NBA Playoffs this year against the Milwaukee Bucks. Ben Rogers breaks down how his current performance makes the trade made at this year’s trade deadline look a lot worse right now and why it’s WAY to early to judge this trade.

  1. I didn’t have a problem with trading Pascal but we couldn’t have gotten more for him we was just better off on keeping him🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. Give me a break. So stupid. Who cares. Pascal had to go. And you can’t judge anything until we see what the draft picks turn out to be.
We already got Ochai and Kelly. Let’s see what happens with Bruce brown. Let’s see what pick 19 in the 2024 draft turns out to be. Then we have the 2026 pacers first round pick to. So everyone needs to shut up and chill. Pascal fits the pacers system perfectly. Of course he was going to thrive there

  3. Can’t really blame the front office for trading Pascal since they didn’t want a repeat of Fred leaving for nothing.

  4. The Pacers fleeced the Raptors in the Siakam trade… OG brought back 2 starters but all Masai got for a superior player in Siakam was bench fodder (Olynyk, Ogbaji, Brown, Nwora) and some magic beans (non lottery draft picks) in 2024 and 2026. Pacers kept all their young prospects. Poeltl, Siakam, Barnes, RJ, IQ was a nice starting 5 to build a bench around. Darko didn't have a clue on how to properly use Siakam on offense making him a cutter and secondary option. Halliburton, Turner and Siakam will grow together with the Pacers younger players and make Indiana a top 6 team in the East for years to come barring injuries. Raptors better flip Brown, Boucher, McDaniels for Wiggins somehow and bring back GTJ to be their 6th man. JP, SB, AW, RJ, IQ starting with Olynyk, Trent Jr, Dick, Ogbaji, Isaiah Collier (#6?), Kel'el Ware (#19?) off the bench.

  5. Bruce brown was NOT the most value asset. Not even close. The best assets are the 2026 first, 2024 28th pick and the 2024 19th pick. THEN bruce brown is the fourth “best” asset.

  6. Or more like Kings and Warriors must be kicking themselves right now 😂

I dont mind personally on the early success and I'm happy for Spicy P. I'm just glad Raptors front office are finally choosing a path instead of being stuck in crossroads. Lets just hope for the best.

  7. With all due. Respect to spicy he is playing against a team that missing the freak. So let’s take that into consideration .

  8. lol the level of causal takes in the comment section is crazy…. lol do you guys understand we gotta pay scottie 180+ pascal wanted 250+ quickly wants 25 per and RJ IS GETTIN 25 now lmao.. you guys see pascal score 37 and split a series that giannis isn playing in and are running crazy lmao BRO any one who mad we traded pascal doesn't understand how cap space words, or what the tax apron is about to do lmao BRO toronto FAN BASE IS 80% causal that have no idea what's goin on they just support and comment

  9. Yall trippin.. nobody on the Bucks can guard anybody so P is goin off. Against any other team or if Giannis returns he gonna sell like always does. He didn't perform here an its jus that simple regardless of how well he does somewhere else.

  10. Pascal is a great player but was not worth the max and especially not worth the max for the Raptors. As a primary scorer he is flawed because he cannot consistently punish the double-team. But he is probably the best all-round number 2 in the league. He might be able to go off against the Bucks but it will get harder IF the Pacers get to the next round, and based on history, he will likely not be able to keep his scoring up.

  11. Most of the Raptors fans who were on the trade siakam bandwagon….most of us wanted him gone prior to this year. This is a fail on Masai’s part. Waited too long to trade him and just had to take whatever we could get. Most of us who wanted him gone, only wanted him gone if we were gonna get properly compensated, which we weren’t. I even said right after the trade happened that the trade was trash and they might as well have kept him

  12. Siakam wasn’t a good fit in offensive schemes. Siakam’s defense has declined. OG wasn’t a good fit for the offense either and we need a reset for the defensive end. Him performing well now is due to the fact Giannis is out and Bucks don‘t have an atheletic defensive big to help。 Match up issue。

  13. Masai is a dissapointment.

We gave away an allstar for nothing. We force a unnecessary rebuild. Fans a re being taking for a ride… LET'S LEAVE SEATS EMPTY UNTILL RAPS GET THE Message

  14. Raptors management seem to be indecisive in the past few seasons. Trading a 1st rounder for Poetl, losing FVV for nothing and now holding onto Bruce Brown at the deadline because they werent getting the offers they wanted only to see his value drop during the tank were al terrible decisions. I hope they focus more this offseason and actually formulate a plan because if Scotty Barnes is not the superstar they believe he is, they dont seem to have a pan B.

  15. You can’t call yourself a raptors fan if your surprised that Pascal is dominating, he’s always been unguardable 1 on 1.

  16. Terrible return, we knew Pascals value, should've asked for Mathurin. Could have handed the team to Scottie as starting point guard

  17. Masai time as a president/gm should be up.. he Needs to Step down.. Imagine the tooks Darko over Reddick and Fernandez.. Poos Decision. This Team cant win under Darko.. We Needed a coach with the IT Factor.. Darko is not it…

  18. How do we know it was a horrible trade when we don’t know what the remaining two picks and Bruce Brown will be turned into? And we also traded the other first for Olynyk and Agbagi (Masai said they think he can become one of the best on ball defenders in the league). Edit: posted this before watching whole video

  19. Oh for Gawd sake, Bucks are playing without their perennial MVP/DPOY candidate Giannis. Who's there to stop Pascal right now? Dame?

  20. Off topic. Excellent 3 point shooters but their inside play is just mediocre. Harden (slowly showing…), Lillard (same imo), GTJ (no change). I favor more of Trae Young and E. Quickley

  21. We got screwed in that deal! Not even one promising young player in return for our all star. Brutal!

  22. Im judging it that’s what you get when you don’t pay players when they rightfully deserve it

  23. This All-NBA and NBA Champion wanted to stay with the Raptors. Don't blame him if the front office decided to trade him away and that he's flourishing in the playoffs for another team.

  24. Canada is a graveyard for nba players and refs prey on them. Once they leave, less pressure from the refs so they thrive. 2019 narrative changed because we had a star player Kawhi Leonard. Common, it's pretty obvious. We need lebron and his child here.

  25. Weird that when you don't play a guy 40 EVERY night during the Regular season he looks a lot better when you play 40 in the playoffs. Raps haven't had depth in 3 years. SP is on the right team. They aren't going far but they're better.

  26. Pascal inna perfect system, it’s beautiful to watch. Raptors have had absolute SHIT spacing since Gasol and Ibaka left, Pascal himself admitted he wanted a floor spacing big (Myles) on the raptors to unlock the offense, look what that’s done for him. Absolutely rooting for him 🤞

  27. I have always said that this front office is amongst the worst in the NBA. Loosing FVV for nothing and trading Pascal for little. IF MLSE is keeping Massai for another two years until he completes his contract, then I say good riddance and same with his GM.
