Knicks get away with 3 blown calls, 76ers right to be upset? | NBA | THE CARTON SHOW

According to the newly released “Last 2 Minute report,” there were three blog calls during the New York Knicks go-ahead sequence in their win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Craig Carton says the 76ers have no right to complain and that they should move on to Game 3.

  1. Something special about this Knicks team is only one starter was drafted in the 1st round. Donte DiVencenzo. All other starters including Brunson was selected in the 2nd round 😊

  2. Crying about foul calls is a terrible excuse and EXPOSES the Sixers and their fans. The Sixers lost the last 2 games not because of questionable ref calls but because their identity and whole gameplan is Embid and Maxey. Philly is based on a 2 man squad vs the Knicks who are not just Brunson. Even with Brunson's poor shooting, the Knicks still can win games because they're a TEAM that has other weapons that can go off any game. Philly doesn't have that. If Maxey and/or Embid don't play well, the team generally falls apart. The other players on Philly are inconsistent.

Why aren't the fans concerned about Philly's other starters and bench not showing up to help Embid and Maxey? Why are the Knicks outrebounding Philly the last two games? Philly need to focus on those issues instead of whinning about ref calls or this will be a quick series.

  3. After a bad call or a so called bad call
??? A lot of teams have seven seconds or under They have thirteen seconds And the knicks were only up by one I'm going to stay it again. They had thirteen seconds In the KNICKS, only up by one And they only came back Because Philadelphia got some calls that they should not get But did the knicks complain about it No because we still had time

  4. PS: This is the first time in nba history Finishing second place don't mean nothing First place awesome Third place great Four place you're killing it On it on There had been times in history Light with my knicks was 8 And the lakers were I believe seven What lebron and Ad But this year everything that's under two is the best teams in the world You can't make this up.I hope you all read this and say it.This is the first year If they were a better team how come they didn't finish second place

  5. I am a sixers fan. It sucks we didn't get the call but oh well let's move on. But if it went the other way and Knicks didn't get the calls, I'm sure every fan would be upset as well

  6. OK Sixers – you miss a free throw, you fail to get a loose ball, you fail to defend a 3, you botch the inbound pass, you fall to get an offensive rebound, you foul Harttenstein as he's trying to pass, you shove Hart to get free, you don't score on two opportunities… OMG all these talking heads are ruining the memory of a historic 27 seconds.

  7. Yeah what about that bs foul on the knicks down the stretch that was overturned and Knicks still won. Refs need to be investigated.

  8. I completely disagree on two points. Nurse didn't call a timeout before the inbounds. It was the most hesitant timeout signal I've ever heard. Secondly, Maxey fully extended his arms and blatantly pushed Hart. It was a missed call. Clear as day. It happens. So him getting fouled, which wasn't as egregious as his push off, would be irrelevant.

  9. The only reason they deemed the Maxey push on Hart "marginal" is because Josh plays big boy ball and didn't flop. He could of easily flapped around like a fish outta water similar to Maxey trying to get the bail out seconds later. This blame is spread all around but predominantly the trifecta of Lowry inbounding the ball and not calling timeout. NN for being indecisive on calling a timeout and Maxey not securing the ball instead of passing… Come on man you adjust to the game… And still the sixers had opportunities to close out. No sympathy here, Knicks wanted it more and 76cuses choked. This team will never win until they start pointing that finger in the mirror.

  10. Joel got away with a lot more fouls that game than anyone on the Knicks combined. Jalen got less than 50% of the calls that he should have.

  11. Refs are human not perfect!!! They missed calls on the Knicks u don't see us talk about how they gave Philly that challenge everybody thought they lost!!!

  12. Brunson was getting hacked all game, no call 🤷‍♂️ Like Thibs said, I’d like the 48 minute report, not just the final 2

  13. Its hilarious because every single person saying they are crying wpuld be crying themselves if it happened to their team. This was multiple missed calls and timeouts that literally changed the game in the final 17 seconds. You put any of tour teams in that same scenario you would be flipping.

  14. The actual contents of the L2M report deemed the timeouts CNC (correct no call). The only reason this is causing drama is sone idiot Philly beat writer lied about what was actually in the report and everyone e ram with it

  15. Game was proven to be stolen, the Sixers won, the Knicks just aren't that good of a team

  16. 🤦🏽‍♂️Everybody talk that🤷🏽‍♂️ why you crying stuff until they are the ones 🎯getting done wrong. 🫢Hypocrisy at its finest 💯

  17. It’s funny to me how all the Knicks fans showed up to defend egregious calls when we all know they would have been crying had they been on the other end. Embiid isn’t even 60% and Sixers still right there. Just be glad it’s not the same version of Embiid during the regular season. Also as for him not grabbing the rebound, let’s not forget he’s injured and trying to play the whole series, not one game. Yes Sixers should have won in spite of the bad calls, but to act like they didn’t change the outcome is naive fandom at its best.

  18. No Eagle fan "gloated" about beating the 49ers after knocking out their QBs in the NFC Championship game. We all felt like we were robbed of the great football matchup we were all looking forward to, but since we can't do anything about it we might as well be happy for our team since they made it to the Superbowl. This dude is such a Philadelphia hater.

  19. Tyrese Maxey literally pushed Josh Hart in order to get open on that play so that was an offensive foul that the refs didn’t call. So the refs let the players decide the game. As they should have. Sixers wanted a bailout.

2 Sixers should have called timeout before attempting to inbound the ball on that play. That was a high pressure full court press they could have had someone in the back court for the easy layup so that was poorly executed.

3 The Sixers didn’t have control and clear possession of the ball when their coach attempt to call timeout. So the refs didn’t give the Knicks any sort of favoritism.

4 the Sixers took more free throws in both games than the Knicks.

5 The Sixers won a challenge that was highly questionable and in my opinion should not have been awarded. So they had plenty of chances to win that game the Knicks took it!

  20. Kills me folks just pointing out this. But league said that Joel was supposed to be called on a foul against donte. And mind you we were up 1 at that time.
