His defense on Banchero won game 5 and played a huge part in winning game 7. He needs a lot of offensive development and some more strength, but nobody can question his defensive ability.

Mobley operates better in space. He hasn’t learned how to work in tight spaces but when he’s in space, like the bucket had in the 4th, he can do a lot of things.
Kawhi and Jimmy Butler were in their 4th and 5th years respectively when they made their big leaps. Evan came into the league even younger than those guys.
Very few players make it to the league and are elite defenders day 1.
