Should Lakers Bring Back Brandon Ingram?

Should Lakers Bring Back Brandon Ingram?

Lakers are looking for another star and plenty of Lakers News has Lakers Trade for A Donovan Mitchell or Trae Young. Lakers Could look for a all star level guy and bring back Brandon Ingram. Lakers Traded Brandon Ingram as part of the Anthony Davis Trade but the New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly not planning to resign Ingram.

  1. I miss him, AD and Ingram are Betas until proven otherwise so what we gon do post LeBron who's barley hanging on?

  2. This is the problem with the Lakers’ team building philosophy. We cut/trade young players because they aren’t immediately effective, we overpay veterans to compensate for the lack of production, the young players we traded blossom into effective role players, our veterans are now old and overpaid, now the lakers don’t have enough cap space to build a good team.

Like we traded away Zubac for nothing, Thomas Bryant for nothing, KCP and Kyle Kuzma for nothing, Jordan Clarkson for nothing, Larry Nance Jr for nothing, we let Brook Lopez walk for nothing, Alex Caruso walk for nothing, got rid of Mo Wagner, and I’m sure there are more.

Like we get rid of cheap, young role players so we can bring in older veterans, instead of just being patient enough to let the young guys develop. Imagine we still had like 2 of those guys, Zubac and Kyle Kuzma. Fills two huge holes in the roster without breaking the bank.

  3. If the lakers would trade for Brandon Ingram it will be d’lo, rui Hachimura, 2024 1 round draft pick, 2030 1st round draft pick

  4. If there was a scenario we can get Ingram back i would definitely be interested depending on what we would need to give up. He's 6'9 long, can shoot and score a lot when in Rythem and he's a good defender. I think the biggest downside is the fact he's dealt with a ton of injuries and it's probably safe to say is as of rn he's a more injury prone player which puts risk on it.

But i mean he essentially gives us the best of bith of the getting a third star and getting depth bc he fits next to Bron and AD giving us that wing depth and when he's at his best he could have star level games. I'm sure the pelicans would want all 3 picks plus Reaves, rui etc and i think that's where the Lakers need to ask themselves what is the limit and could they trust that ingram will not always be injured

  5. I agree with you , Tyler. Brandon Ingram would be a great acquisition. But given the way the AD trade worked out for the Pelicans (Lakers have won a chip; they haven't) I wonder if those Flapjacks would trade with the Lakers, even if we had the best offer.

  6. I don't like his athletic ability he looks like a small AD low motor , he doesn't match up with Nuggets or Wolves front court I don't want him .

  7. I think Lakers needs center/big men.
◼️Center position: Valanciunas, McGee. Markkanen, Sabonis. If they can get two players from these, it's good . If Lakers can get 3, the better.
◼️Keep DLo, he's the only legit shooter of Lakers.
◼️Keep also defensive players: Vanderbilt, Cam Reddish, Max Christie and Gabe Vincent.
◼️If possible, get solid defensive, athletic big players from the free agency. Players the likes of Naz Reid.
    Just my honest opinion.

  8. people are going to say he's injury prone but he has had to carry that team majority of the time due to Zion being the one who is actually injury prone. Pels were great when he was the primary focus.

  9. No get a solid point gaurd Murray from Atlanta get paul George and get McGee This would be better moves trade reaves dlo and rui for Murray and who ever else you can get

  10. Love your videos bro! Would appreciate if you could do a video looking at miles bridges and Nick Richard’s

  11. Y’all need to just accept reality for what is. Lebron time is up. 39 year old Lebron isn’t the same as 25-32 year old Lebron. Plus he doesn’t wanna be held accountable for his mistakes. It’s over for Lebron. Retirement is the answer
