It’s not just a 1st round pick, it’s the Rockets LOTTERY pick this season. They also have Ousman Dieng, who is a 2nd year lottery pick, won the GLeague finals MVP, and is about to be 21… if he was in this draft, he’d be a top 5 pick. On top of all of this, they’ll have $30 million in cap space, while a team like Minnesota will have a $100 million luxury tax bill.
