In reality, the last two time Spurs played Thunder. 1st game in Jan, Thunder came in with chip on their shoulder vs Spurs after losing the back2back Christmas games to Spurs and Thunder blew the Spurs out. Then the next game, Thunder played mostly their 3rd stringers vs the main Spurs squad and it was a 4 pt game with 5 minutes left before Spurs won by like 10. I think the Spurs did shock Thunder a bit during the 2 Christmas games and Thunder clearly adjusted in the Jan game.
When has the media disrespected a reigning NBA champion the way they have with OKC? What has these Spurs done in the playoffs recently to make the champs fear them?

Jdub does not have to be the same player this year as he was last. Last year he had to carry the load when Shai was off the court. If he plays within the offense OKC looks unstoppable. Dub just need to play solid D and play within the offense. He doesn't need to try to force it and take over games.

Spurs wont make it far, Denver will take them out. OKc has the easiest path to the conference finals. Denver vs OKC will come out the west.
